Pritzker Prize-winning architect Richard Meier has created a limited edition pewter menorah (candle holder) for New York’s Jewish Museum. Meier’s Menorah is the first of Design edition JM, the first curated collection of modern Judaica by contemporary creatives. His design commemorates 4,000 years of Jewish history with the candleholders representing locations of Jewish expulsion, hardship and perseverance. A limited number are exclusively available online and from Jewish Museum Shops for US$1,000.
